Our School

The school is located in the town of Bishoftu, about an hour south-east of the capital Addis Ababa. In the area surrounding the school, many families cannot afford to send their kids to school. We believe this school has been strategically placed to make in an immediate impact in the community. The need is great, but we know our God is greater. 

In 2015, we partnered with a trusted Ethiopian businessman to help give the local children a chance to learn English, Math, and the Bible. The school was already established but under a different name. It had a poor reputation in the community as being poorly operated and the education was poor. The buildings were unkept and run-down, teachers were unpaid, and student enrollment barely reached 80. The school was in a financial and educational crises.

However, through God and YOUR financial generosity, we have given a new face to the school. Through the last couple of years, we have seen God provide multiple new buildings to expand our classrooms and grades, a wall to protect our students and faculty, a well to give water to our community, and a soccer field. Since 2015, our student enrollment is already at capacity with 800 students with a waiting list and our teachers are being paid competitive wages. We are pleased to say that our school is no longer in debt and it is now a self-sufficient school.
