Our School

The school is located on the outskirts of the capital in a small town known as Bishoftu. There are numerous schools in the area, but because of insufficient finances, there are still numerous families who cannot afford to send their children to school to further their education. The need is great, but we believe our God is greater.

In 2015, we partnered with a trusted Ethiopian businessman to help give the local children a chance to learn English, Math, and the Bible. The school was already established but under a different name. The school had a poor reputation; buildings were run-down, eighty students of all grades attended, teachers were unpaid, and the school was in a financial crisis.

However, through God and YOUR financial generosity, we have given a new face to the school. Through the last couple of years, we have seen God provide multiple new buildings to expand our classrooms and grades, a wall to protect our students and faculty, a well to give water to our community, a soccer field which initiated an outreach in which over a hundred young teens and children come and play soccer and hear Jesus. Student enrollment is already at capacity with 800 students with a waiting list and our teachers are being paid competitive wages. We are pleased to say that our school is no longer in debt and it is now a self-sufficient school.

252 KIDS

Luke 2:52 “and Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.” This is our goal for the students at the school. "252 Kids" is our sponsorship program for the school children. Currently, we are looking for sponsors to help with half of the tuition needed for each student.

You can sponsor in two ways:

1. Donate a reoccurring $21 a month. Or,

2. Donate a one time $252 to help a student stay in school.

Your financial donation is tax-free and 100% of your donation goes straight to the children at our school. If you would like to donate, click the link below and type Ethiopia 252 in the memo. Thank you for helping make a brighter future for these kids.

This is an exciting opportunity that we get to share and invest in the lives of young Ethiopians and we want you to be a part of what God is doing in these young students' lives.
